Zartaj Gul and Usman Buzdar Summoned in Alleged Corruption Cases

Lahore-Pakistan: Two most famous former high-ranking officials belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Zartaj Gul and Usman Buzdar, are facing serious corruption allegations and have been summoned by the Punjab anti-corruption department.

Zartaj Gul, a former federal minister, is being investigated over allegations of receiving commission in relation to development projects in her constituency.

Meanwhile, Usman Buzdar, the former chief minister of Punjab, is being investigated in a corruption case involving the construction of a 50-kilometre road from Bharti to Khar Buzdar in Taunsa, at a cost of Rs700 million.

According to online sources, Zartaj Gul and her husband, Humayun Akhund, are being investigated for reportedly taking a 10% commission on the allocation of funds for development projects.
