The Stanly Arts Guild has announced the offer of two art $1,000 scholarships to be awarded in June. Winners will be announced at the June meeting of the Guild. The first is the Patricia Blake Hartley Scholarship, established as a memorial to a long-time member and supporter of the Guild. The scholarship is awarded annually to a college student from Stanly County (preferably a junior or senior) who is enrolled as a visual arts or arts education major.
