IIM-Sambalpur has announced that it will be conducting an independent admission process for its MBA program, starting from the 2025-2026 academic year. This means that the institute will no longer be part of the Common Admission Process (CAP) and will instead conduct its own admission process.

The new admission process will include a personal interview round, which can be attended either online or offline at the IIM Sambalpur campus or its Delhi campus. This flexible approach aims to provide a more tailored and seamless experience for applicants.

– Shortlisting: Students who will be shortlisted after the first round will receive intimation through email by January 10, 2025.
– Registration: Shortlisted candidates will have to register on the portal on or before January 25, 2025.
– Personal Interviews: Personal interviews will be conducted between March 3, 2025, and April 18, 2025.
– First Merit List: The first merit list will be announced tentatively on May 10, 2025.

The admission process will consider various factors, including CAT 2024 scores, academic records, work experience, and gender balance.
