To be eligible for IIM Ahmedabad’s MBA program, you’ll need to meet certain criteria. First, you must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, this requirement is relaxed to 45%.
If you’re in your final year of bachelor’s degree, you can still apply, but you’ll need to produce a certificate from your institution stating that you’ve completed all requirements for graduation by June 30, 2025.
Now, let’s move on to the selection process. It’s a two-step process:
Step 1: Shortlisting for Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI)
– Candidates are shortlisted based on their Composite Score (CS), which is calculated using their Application Rating (AR) score and CAT-2024 score.
– The AR score is based on the candidate’s academic performance, work experience, and other factors.
– Candidates are shortlisted from each academic discipline, with separate shortlists for General, SC, ST, NC-OBC, and PwD categories.
Step 2: Final Selection
– Shortlisted candidates are invited for AWT and PI.
– The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in AWT, PI, and their CAT-2024 score.
It’s worth noting that IIM Ahmedabad reserves the right to make changes to the shortlisting and selection criteria if necessary.
