As per Lawkidunya, if you are self-employed you need to fill in your self-assessment tax return and pay tax by 31 Jan following the year that you started running your business.
For example, if you are started your own business in the June 2020, you will pay your tax in Jan 2022. The tax year runs from 6 April to 5 April.
