1. Residence of Minor: The court having jurisdiction over the place where the minor resides has the power to appoint a guardian.
2. Property of Minor: The court having jurisdiction over the place where the minor’s property is situated has the power to appoint a guardian for the property.
Jurisdiction of Courts in Specific Cases
1. Guardianship of Person: The court having jurisdiction over the place where the minor resides has the power to appoint a guardian of the person.
2. Guardianship of Property: The court having jurisdiction over the place where the minor’s property is situated has the power to appoint a guardian of the property.
3. Guardianship of Both Person and Property: The court having jurisdiction over the place where the minor resides and where the minor’s property is situated has the power to appoint a guardian of both the person and property.
Exclusive Jurisdiction
